If you were to compose a poem about one aspect of your life, which topic would it fall into and what would your overall life's message be?

 Prompt Response: If I were to compose a poem about one aspect in my life it would be about working because I can open up about how hard working you have to be in order to succeed, make your own money and take care of yourself without others help or money. My overall life message would be hard work can lead you to success and bigger things in the future if you commit to it and improve different skills in your life.


Summary: Today in class we worked on analyzing Emily Dickinson quotes.


Reflection: I learned how to find the topic, analyze, find the theme and conflict of a poem.

 Prompt Response: A real-life situation where jealousy negatively affected a relationship was when my friend was jealous about how I live life outside of school and the attention I would get from some people when we hang out with each other. Summary: Today in class we worked in groups and tried to identify different things in the story " The Jealous Father". Reflection: I learned how to break down the moral message of a story and break down sentences in a PowerPoint so that they're not too long for a slide.
