Imagine you are learning about Hispanic/Latino heritage for the very first time. What would you be curious to know about the traditions, foods, music, or celebrations?

Prompt Response: If I was learning about Hispanic heritage month, I would be curious to learn about what foods they make everyday, how it's prepared and where it comes from. Another thing I would like to learn about is what music they like to listen to in their free time or celebrating with families.


Summary: Today we continued to talk about the writing process and how to pre-write and how to think of a thesis statement.


Reflection: I learned how to cluster my ideas to put them into a sentence to support my thesis statement.

 Prompt Response: A real-life situation where jealousy negatively affected a relationship was when my friend was jealous about how I live life outside of school and the attention I would get from some people when we hang out with each other. Summary: Today in class we worked in groups and tried to identify different things in the story " The Jealous Father". Reflection: I learned how to break down the moral message of a story and break down sentences in a PowerPoint so that they're not too long for a slide.
