In “The Interlopers” by Saki, Ulrich and Georg view each other as interlopers, outsiders intruding on their land and their lives. Think about a time when you felt like an interloper or when someone else felt out of place in your world. How did that situation affect relationships, emotions, or outcomes?

Prompt response: A time when someone else felt out of place in my world, it made me feel like they weren't real to me and that they were in my dreams. It made our relationship awkward because I didn't know what to say to them or to treat them because they were so different than when I met them.

Reflection: I learned how to look for key details in a story and read it thoroughly to answer questions about it.

 Prompt Response: A real-life situation where jealousy negatively affected a relationship was when my friend was jealous about how I live life outside of school and the attention I would get from some people when we hang out with each other. Summary: Today in class we worked in groups and tried to identify different things in the story " The Jealous Father". Reflection: I learned how to break down the moral message of a story and break down sentences in a PowerPoint so that they're not too long for a slide.
