What do you love most about being part of the Lakeside community? How do you show off your school spirit? What is your favorite Homecoming tradition or event?

Prompt Response: One thing that I love most about the Lakeside community is how everyone shows off their school spirit with creativity. I show off school spirit by participating in some of the events we get to do and dress up or match with my friends whenever I get a chance to. My favorite homecoming event was Throwback Thursday because I get to dress in different styles like street wear or Y2K.


Summary: Today in class we took a "Constantly Risking Absurdity" assessment  and worked on finishing our Poem Posters.


Reflection: I learned how to think outside the box and be creative when working on my Poem Poster.

Summary:  Today in class we read a story called "Navajo Creation". Reflection:  Something that I learned from today's lesson was that stories pertain to a lot of old mythical stories.

 Prompt Response: A real-life situation where jealousy negatively affected a relationship was when my friend was jealous about how I live life outside of school and the attention I would get from some people when we hang out with each other. Summary: Today in class we worked in groups and tried to identify different things in the story " The Jealous Father". Reflection: I learned how to break down the moral message of a story and break down sentences in a PowerPoint so that they're not too long for a slide.
