As we think about our upcoming Vocabulary Monday, tell me what is your favorite word RIGHT NOW? Why is it your favorite word and how often do you use it?

Prompt Response:

My favorite word right now is demeanor because it shows if someone is feeling uncomfortable or awkward in a different atmosphere or situation that they are in. Most people do not like to talk about how they feel around certain people, but by looking at their body language you can tell if a person is having a good time or not at an event. The word demeanor also relates to self control. A person with a positive, calm, or professional demeanor is often seen as being in control of their emotions, even when facing challenges. Someone whose favorite word is demeanor may personally strive to project a specific image, such as confidence or being approachable. By consciously managing their own outward mannerisms.

Summary:

Today in class we worked on our "Birches: Climbing Back to Childhood" presentations.
