Prompt Response: A time when someone's words had a lasting impact on me was when my grandmother gave me wise words on how to live life, apply to many colleges, get a degree, and find a job that has a good pay check so I do not struggle with paying bills and other important things. She also tells me to look out for people who try to ruin your lifestyle and keep people who want to see me succeed very close to me and do not hold any negative thoughts about me.

Summary: Today in class we did an "Argument Writing Practice" and identified why the evidence for the claims were not effective. 

Reflection: I learned how to distinguish how evidence can not be effective to a claim.

 Prompt Response: A real-life situation where jealousy negatively affected a relationship was when my friend was jealous about how I live life outside of school and the attention I would get from some people when we hang out with each other. Summary: Today in class we worked in groups and tried to identify different things in the story " The Jealous Father". Reflection: I learned how to break down the moral message of a story and break down sentences in a PowerPoint so that they're not too long for a slide.
