Reflect on a time when you paused to appreciate the beauty of nature, much like the speaker in “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.” Where were you, what did you notice, and how did that moment of stillness make you feel or change your perspective?

 Prompt Response: 

A time when I paused to appreciate the beauty of nature was when I was on an overnight field trip to a campsite. During the trip we went through some woods and explored different things in them. There were a lot of trees, flowers and old buildings in the woods. While taking a pause, I took the time to admire all the different sightings.  The experience made me appreciate nature more and gave me a relaxed feeling when present in it.

Summary: 

Today in class we read a poem by Robert Frost called "Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening," then afterwards we created one pager based on the poem we received. 


Reflection: 

I learned how to analyze a poem and apply it to a project.

 Prompt Response: A real-life situation where jealousy negatively affected a relationship was when my friend was jealous about how I live life outside of school and the attention I would get from some people when we hang out with each other. Summary: Today in class we worked in groups and tried to identify different things in the story " The Jealous Father". Reflection: I learned how to break down the moral message of a story and break down sentences in a PowerPoint so that they're not too long for a slide.
