Prompt Response: The best gift that I've ever received was my first phone because I was able to call my friends when I get home from school and contact my family members when i'm not visiting them. I could also play different games and upload videos of me and my friends on Instagram and TikTok for memories in case we go our separate ways in the future.


Summary: Today in class we talked about unpopular opinions, took notes in informal and formal sentences, and began the first part of our unpopular opinion argument paragraphs.


Reflection: I learned how to make a claim that is supporting a topic without using first and second person perspectives.

 Prompt Response: A real-life situation where jealousy negatively affected a relationship was when my friend was jealous about how I live life outside of school and the attention I would get from some people when we hang out with each other. Summary: Today in class we worked in groups and tried to identify different things in the story " The Jealous Father". Reflection: I learned how to break down the moral message of a story and break down sentences in a PowerPoint so that they're not too long for a slide.
