Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?

 Prompt Response:

The time when I took a hiatus from dancing due to an injury impacted me because I was able to relax, clear my mind from dancing and focus on things that are more important to me. I was able to get plenty of rest due to my injury and complete more tasks that I did not get a chance to do due to my tight schedule with school, homework, and extra activities. 


Summary:

Today in class we learned three new rhetoric devices and wrote examples for them.


Reflection:

I learned the usage of antithesis, hypophora, and rhetorical questions.

 Prompt Response: A real-life situation where jealousy negatively affected a relationship was when my friend was jealous about how I live life outside of school and the attention I would get from some people when we hang out with each other. Summary: Today in class we worked in groups and tried to identify different things in the story " The Jealous Father". Reflection: I learned how to break down the moral message of a story and break down sentences in a PowerPoint so that they're not too long for a slide.
