In 2–3 well-developed sentences, reflect on how you spent your Holiday Break. Then, identify four personal you would like to achieve this year and briefly explain why each goal is important to you (Copy and paste your completed response from Writable into your blog).

 Prompt Response:

During the Holiday Break, I've spent most of my time shopping for others and trying to get their gifts before the sell out date. On Christmas, I received all the important gifts that I want along with things that my family got me that I did not know they had purchased. On New Years, my family all got together and shared one goal that we want to achieve, then played competitive games with each other.

My 4 Goals:

The first goal I want to achieve is planning out what colleges I want to attend. This goal is important to me because I will know what I want to major in and what I want to do for work in the future. To accomplish this goal, I will research schools that offer the major I want to work in, apply to the schools that have a good learning environment for me to study, and research what requirements I need for the major. By June 2026, I will make my decision about which college I would want to attend to get my degree. My second goal I want to achieve is getting my learner's permit. This goal is important because I will drive myself to places without asking for a ride from someone else. To accomplish this goal, I will study the driver's manual to learn about the rules and what the signs mean when driving, go to an empty parking lot to learn how to maneuver a car, and set up a date and time for me to take the driver's test. Before summer, I will have my learner's permit. Another goal that I want to achieve is applying for jobs to earn more money. This goal is important because, knowing that I have my money, I can purchase my own things and purchase things for my family as well. To accomplish this goal, I will research jobs that catch my attention, apply for as many jobs as possible to have some options, and schedule interviews for the jobs that seem interesting to me. By summer break, I will have a job and earn money to better myself and my family. My last goal I want to achieve is fixing my attitude and having more patience. This goal is important to me because it will allow me to have a calmer perspective of things. To accomplish this goal, I will take the time to relax myself and breathe so that I do not get upset, have better communication and get a better understanding of any situation and not jump to conclusions, and learn how to ignore comments of statements people say either about me or others. By the end of 2026, I will have a calmer reaction to people's statements.

In class we wrote down 4 our goals we would like to achieve this year.
