Reflect on a time when you had to rely on someone else. How did it feel?

 Prompt Response:

A time when I had to rely on someone else was when I was really sick during winter break and I had to rely on my mom to help take care of me so I could get better very soon. The feeling of knowing my mom was able to help me get better even though she had work to do was very calming for me because I knew that I had someone who could still help me get better even if they have other things to do on the side.


Summary:

Today in class we learned 3 more rhetorical devices and wrote examples for them.


Reflection:

I learned the uses of the rhetorical devices procatalepsis, distinctio, and simile.

 Prompt Response: A real-life situation where jealousy negatively affected a relationship was when my friend was jealous about how I live life outside of school and the attention I would get from some people when we hang out with each other. Summary: Today in class we worked in groups and tried to identify different things in the story " The Jealous Father". Reflection: I learned how to break down the moral message of a story and break down sentences in a PowerPoint so that they're not too long for a slide.
