One life skill I learned in high school is time management. Keeping up with schoolwork and activities taught me how to stay organized and meet deadlines. I also learned communication skills by working with others and asking for help when needed. The most essential skills for life after high school are responsibility and self-discipline. These skills will help me manage my time, make good decisions, and succeed independently.

Today in class we looked at the different types of rhetoric and applied it to one of Trump's speeches.

I learned how to identify rhetoric and how it is used in an speech or story.

 Prompt Response: A real-life situation where jealousy negatively affected a relationship was when my friend was jealous about how I live life outside of school and the attention I would get from some people when we hang out with each other. Summary: Today in class we worked in groups and tried to identify different things in the story " The Jealous Father". Reflection: I learned how to break down the moral message of a story and break down sentences in a PowerPoint so that they're not too long for a slide.
